A few months ago, I had decided to "collect" books that I absolutely adore and will be reading over and over again. Right now I have been working on the "classics" and I just finished reading "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". That was a good one. Currently, I am now working on "Dante's Inferno", but this one requires more brain-power and is taking longer (thank the lord for footnotes).
I went shopping at an antique flea market a couple weeks ago and picked up a beautiful 1852 copy of William Shakespeare. It is obviously worn and falling apart, but can still be gently read. I also found another book, a copy of "Anderson's Fairy Tales" which was published in the 1890's. The illustrations are absolutely stunning!
I will certainly post of photo of my "collection" once I get my paws on a decent looking bookshelf. Until then- read read read!
